Beta 041


*Goten / Kid Trunks have an additional 5 seconds to decide where their start location should be.

*Yakon / Pui Pui / Dabura should now have correct stats when summoned

*Cell's sense will now ping androids.

*Angry explosion should now work as intended on Kid Buu.

*Piccolo should now correctly receive stats when learning his crit ability.

*There is now a 7 second delay between when the game detects that all players on a team are dead and the game ending. During this time, it is possible to revive to prevent the game from ending.

*Minor terrain changes

*Tao's pillar can now land slightly more south than was previously possible.

Cell / Gotenks breaking the game
This is a strange bug, and one that I have not been able to reproduce in single player. If anyone knows under what circumstances this happens, this information will be helpful.

  1. Dr. Gero is pretty boring as a character, he should get a transformation, like becoming android 16 or super 17,etc

    1. Yes please. Super 17 is a great idea. He should also have the ability to make an android out of a hero, quest character or someone with less than 1000 or 10% health.

    2. Super 17 is a stupid and ripped off idea (from Ultimate), Gero is a good char in general and his energy shield makes him a unique and usefull villain. But i do agree that the updates that took his heal off made him a little "boring".
      I do agree however in the "android transformation" of more than regular creeps, both late (and early) his android transformation serves for nothing but to keep him from being killed by players that Rush the game, perhaps Gero would be much more usefull as a support character (just like dende for the Z) for the villains, something like "reviving a vilain with extra stats" or "healing geti/super 13/cell/tao" would be the differential he need and we are PRAYING for.

      DBZ Tributes (elite included) are good because they feature different play styles, despite Gero's passive life steal and shield, the hability to create a "300% creep" or a "new hero with no interesting features other than a shield and enchanced stats" is NOT something i (and many others i think) would consider usefull or 'game changing'.

    3. (Before someone point out the logical contradition on my previus post: The shield is usefull for faming stats [And auto-hit someone later], useless for the protection of teammates.)

    4. Lord Malik, I agree with you one the part that Gero should have an ability to heal Super 13 fully, as Super 13 has no regen spell or ability whatsoever

    5. A full heal on an ally is far too strong in both middle and late game, as we've seen on Dende. Heals are some of the strongest possible skills you can give to a character in a game like tribute, which is why they are so rare and limited. While Gero may be boring, he is still extremely viable. If too much buffing is done to him, he may become overpowered to the point that it would be a mistake to not pick him for a team; which ruins parts of the game by forcing a more limited team composition. I personally do not find Gero boring at all, because of the amount of micro you can do on him to increase your potential stat gain. Perhaps try new farming methods using his kit by microing different areas, or body-blocking sagas better using his micro?

    6. Ok not a full heal, but how about 80%? And I said that the heal would only effect super 13, no one else. U gotta b kidding me if u find dr.gero enjoyable to use, he still needs improvements

    1. SS is stronger more toward middle game due to the increased agility and ability to still use effective beams. Oozaru is still a very strong early game boost for sagas, as well as a giant hp boost that can be nice if used correctly in a fight (this is true even in late game as well). Try using oozaru more effectively in HBTC or early saga if you have to, or even using it as a last ditch effort to live before getting some bean ticks off.

      TL;DR: Oozaru is strong enough, pls don't change it Adam thx

    2. listen in this game oozaru is as strong as ss3 tell me that how it should be? and the golden oozauro is x2 than ss4 i think that this one of the reasons that the bad players cant win

    3. Dude what are u smoking? Ozzaru is the reason the bad players cant win? Ozzaru form has a LONG ASS cooldown, it only lasts like 1 min, and also z fighers cept piccolo have NO regen spell, almost all the evil players have a regen spell and can only use beans, there is nothing wrong with ozzaru its fair.

    4. look at the start of the game vegeta goku and gohan wins the tournaments that help a lot they beat the sagas fast they have a great advance i never had seen a game that a villian win when someone play with goku/vegeta

  7. About the Cell breaking.. I think i just made the game crash as cell. I absorbed 17, and then 18. When i had absorbed 18, the game lagged ALOT, and i had to ctrl, alt delete. Was playing with a friend, and it crashed for him too.
